KNOTLESS BRAIDS CLIENTS ALERT:

Knotless hair has to be prepared the day before the appointment to save time. Therefore if a client has their own hair they are required to drop it off at our store any day before your appointment. If a client is buying the hair from our store, you are required to call in any day before your appointment to chose your hair color.

All my bookings are done through my Gloss Genius Profile. However please read through my booking requirements below before making your booking.

Booking Requirements

Please carefully read all requirements before booking!

All new clients, kindly book a new clients consultation before booking any services. This can be done either in person or over the phone. This is done through our Gloss Genius. Kindly click the book now button to book your consultation.

Please note that a non-refundable fee of $20 is instantly deducted upon making your booking. However if your booking is not approved your $20 deposit will be instantly refunded to your account. If your booking is approved the $20 deposit now becomes a non-refundable deposit.

Please note that the deposit goes towards payment and you will pay the difference the day of your appointment in Cash or Card.

If you reschedule or cancel your appointment you lose your $20 deposit fee. If you wish to reschedule for a different date and time you will need to pay another $20 deposit fee for that appointment.

Please note the Gloss Genius Policy that states that if you cancel your appointment within 24 hours your card will be charged 50% of the service you were meant to get then if you do not show up your card will be charged 100% of the price you were meant to pay. I do not have power over this Gloss Genius Policy.

I offer last-minute appointments, squeeze-in services, for a fee of $50 for any services that take less than 2 hours. Then a fee of $100 for all braiding styles.

Please come with freshly washed and blow-dried hair, please do not put any product, leave-in conditioner, grease/ oil.

I do provide wash and blow-dry services for $25 extra, please let me know when you make a booking if you require wash and blow-dry services.

I give 15 minutes grace period for every appointment, afterwards you pay late fees or your appointment will be canceled and the deposit will be non-refundable. This grace period also applies to me as well.

I do not give any refund after full service.

Please note, if you book with me twice and cancel without notifying me of the reason for your cancellation you will no longer be able to book with me.

Children Appointmnets

We now have Braiders that work with children above the age of 2 years. Kindly contact the store to book your child's appointment.

I am now personally working on children above the age of 7 years. For me to work with these children, an in person consultation is needed before the appointment.

All children prices differ as this depends on the style, therefore we do not have fixed prices for children. Free styles start at $45 going up.

Hair Requirements

Please note if you come with hair that is not ready for the stylist to work on I charge an additional $10 to blow dry.

The price does not include braiding hair, however braiding hair can be purchased instore.

The prices of any services are for normal length braids and 4 inch hair.

Please note waist length going down will be subject to extra charge. Starting from $50 depending on the size of the braids.

Extra charges will be assesed for shorter hair below 4 inches and any hair that requires extra care e.g. alopecia and hair loss. The starting price will be from $30 going up depending with your condition.

There is no length of hair I cannot work on but it depends on the style please text me before booking.

All hairstyle times are estimates, please do not book when you do not have enough time because I do not want to be rushed!!! I do not have breaks in between braiding only things that are accepted are stretching and restroom breaks.

If anything comes loose or unravels, lace front glue or braids there will be a 48 hour free of charge fixing offered subject to availability, terms and conditions apply!

-We carry all braiding hair in store. please call us before your appointment to find out if we have your specific color choice if you would like a specific color for your hair. this will help us save time on the day of your appointment.

Difference between box braids and knotless braids.

WHAT ARE KNOTLESS BRAIDS ?

Knotless braids are lightweight and natural-looking box braids.

Unlike traditional box braids, the hair extension is seamlessly fed into the base of the braid leaving NO Knots, unlike traditional box braids. Knotless braids are versatile style and easily styled immediately without pain and tension. These braids start to look old after about 4 weeks, serving an amazingly natural look, and can last up to 2months with proper care.

WHAT ARE BOX BRAIDS ?

Traditional box braids, it’s adding a certain amount of braiding hair from the root and leave a clean knot to secure the braid, box braids its a heavy style unlike knotless braid and it takes some days for you to be able to put the braids into a style without pain. These braids can last up to 3 months with proper care. Definitely, it’s a protective style !!!
